Lever action .22lr

I am looking for a second hand lever action .22lr with wood stock to shoot stuff around the yard. I am not a gun collector and don’t intend to pay gun collector prices. Haven’t started looking around gun stores or anything yet but was hopeful that someone here has one they want to part with.

I like the Henry Classic but don’t want to spend 350-400 for a new one just to shoot pinecones, soda cans and raccoons trying to get to my chickens if I can avoid it.

Haha now SCDNR will start selling pinecone tags…

The best plinking 22lr I own is the Ruger 10/22. You can iron sight it, scope it, whatever. There’s also a break down version that goes inside a case or back pack very easily.

Spend the money, get a decent gun. If you still wanna go cheap, I’ll look and see what i have. I probably have something for you.

To ricky’s point: there are no cheap 22 levers

this is as close as you’ll get, I went with the “tactical” model with threaded barrel that only comes with ugly black plastic furniture. it’s so quiet with a can though…

semi auto is my next suppressed platform, 10/22’s are a rabbithole man

oh yeah, i’ve also got a scoped remington 597 that can go cheap if you don’t mind the clackety clack

I hear the FBI is shut down on paperwork right now, so picking it up new might be a problem…

Oh, how I wish I could find some cheap lever guns. Good luck in your search.

I got a few too. Do you ever shoot any of them? I try to shoot mine, but it’s been years on those guns.
