BRAND NEW license by mail…CAN’T READ IT! Can’t read last name, where I live or what license I have. UNACCEPTABLE PRODUCT. WORSE than their motor decals.

Haven’t purchased mine yet, but I know my recently received boat registration card seems like it is printed on toilet paper. Budget cuts perhaps??

the typeface on mine is small and hard to read. And when I tried to separate it from the larger piece of paper it comes in, it started to tear. The quality is questionable.

I’m sure DNR will print you another one if it’s defective. If some have received ones that are ok, then yours must be in a batch of bad ones. It’s a safe bet that DNR would rather your license be legible than not. Think of how many are being processed this time of year - there are bound to be some problems.
mine is awful as well. it looks as if it was folded while wet and hot pressed! if the man was in a foul mood on the wrong day he might have an issue! mike

Ordered mine, and my wife’s at the same time, and recieved both the same day. Mine was in good shape and readable, but my wife’s was not readable. I think the DNR needs to get a better printer.
Why don’t you just order them online and print them at home or at your office. Once you are in the system it takes 5 minutes to complete. I print 2 copies, one for my wallet and one to laminate for my boat bag. Simple, easy and immediate, no waiting.

I work for the state and maybe they have the same problem we have at work. Some genius with the state mandated that all state agencies use the same procurement system to order everything they need. We ordered printer cartridges 4 weeks ago and still do not have them. It used to be that we could order online from Staples, Forms & Supplies or a couple of other places and have it the next day. Oh well, I guess someone on the outside knows a lot better than we do what we need. The state is famous for trying this “one size fits all” approach.
My new registration card for the boat looks like that. All I could think was if I actually pulled this out to show DNR, they would undoubtedly laugh me all the way to the bottom of my ticket for no valid registration, you cant read anything on the card.

Must have changed the cartridge before they printed mine. Black as smut.
I thought it was just mine. All light. Can’t read it hardly.
I received mine today, and it looks fine, crisp and clear.
I guess that I am one of the lucky ones…

have sort of the same thing going on with my bote sicker. its almost like the toner in the printer was low when it printed. the “ink” kind of scaled off a litte when I took it off the card to place on my bote. still ledgible so no worries… yet

Got mine the other day - the print was fine. I ordered it on the www, super quick and easy. I bought the 3 year sportsman package and 3 year saltwater and duck stamp. Cost $188.00 to fish and hunt for three years. It will be nice not to worry about it for 3 years.

Just got mine and the miss’s in the mail this week and the print is fine on both. I also ordered from the web. I always print a copy from there to keep in my dry-box on the boat. You never know when you may need a 2nd copy. Motto: If it can happen, it will happen!
