License Renewal!!

Just want to throw a reminder out for everyone that as of today, July 1, we have to renew our fishing and hunting licenses!
I would hate for someone to forget and get a ticket this week. I’m guessing that the DNR will be out in force for the holiday weekend.
Hope you all have a safe week on the water and wear the fish out!

I bought the 3 year license. Now I have to remember what year it expires.

thanks… forgot all about it

Bought the lifetime, so one less thing to try to remember… Now, my hunting and fishing license do not expire until I do…

I like the idea of the three year or the life time… Just need to save up some money to make the one big payment.

If any member on here gets a charge from DNR, call me at 576-2000.

Don’t know what the law is over there, but in Ga. when you turn 65 fishing and hunting licenses are free forever. State park passes are half price. Special benefits to Veterans also. Check into it. Pretty sure I haven’t paid for a DL since 68 when I got out of the USMC.

Be careful relying on the lifetime license. I got mine years ago and the thing doesnt cover SALTWATER or WMA hunting

Yes, you are right Sniper7, but it is up to you to know what it does and does not cover…

why, you putting together a scrap book?

I thought I read that the state legislature was enacting a law that would let the license be good for a full year no matter when you bought it. For example, if you bought it May 12, 2013, it would be valid until May 12, 2014. Anyone know about this??

When saltwater was covered it was worth having. The complete sportsmans license is only 60 for the year. And to get WMA and Saltwater I have to pay $40 so it will pay off in the long run but only by a little

No, I am an attorney who is willing to help out my fellow anglers.

If only the new license enabled me to catch more fish…

WELFARE MOTOR lol. nah man if the government paid for it you would have you a brand spanking new 40 yamaha on that bad boy

Consider checking the box and buying the SC Wildlife magazine. A good read and a nice free calendar to boot!

I paid my $35 non-resident saltwater license fee just as I have for the past several years. I live in GA but fish more in SC and FL than I do GA. Fishing licenses are voluntary taxes in my opinion, and I don’t mind paying them as much as I do the non-voluntary taxes.

If you’re lucky enough to be fishing, you’re lucky enough.

Yes. We did pass a year-around license this year. It takes effect January 2014. Still have to have your license this year. The 365 license will be very helpful when it is enacted.
