I have found numerous licking branches, scrapes and rubs that are all active. Now, I am putting out numerous cameras to try and find out exactly the best place to set up. I’ve decided to hunt this one quadrant of my property to ALMOST the exclusion of any of my 14 tree stands/blinds. This is all in a 100 yard area. I don’t want to get too close them. I am hoping to find a dependable trail that leads to them. My biggest problem will be getting to setup without spooking them.
Got a buck a dear friend is after… she has spent the night in the shop and got in the stand very early only to see a white tail a couple of times. I have no doubt she’ll get him! From what I’ve seen Bucks are out early morning at this point…
