I think it’s time I invest in a nice life jacket as I’ve been doing a lot more solo fishing lately and expect that to continue. Can anyone give some recommendations on a comfortable, good quality life jacket for inshore fishing?
I’m not looking for anything fancy and would prefer not to spent above $100.
Appreciate any help you guys can provide!

I am not completely against the inflatable style life jackets, but I have had a hard time with them and recently decided to go back to a traditional style life jacket.
If you are in choppy water or a rainstorm the auto inflatable life jackets have gone off…
It scared the life out of me!!!
The manual jackets assume that if in the water, you will be able to pull the cord. If for some reason you are rendered unconscious or incapacitated, this jacket will not do you any good.
I like a life jacket that has both a zipper and clips to be sure it stays on.
I am not a big guy, so I favor the life jackets that are built for skiers/ wake boarders, they are neoprene and fit a little snugger.
Just my.02, hope it helps.

Stearns inflatable - bought two, each $80 on sale at Sportsman’s Warehouse in Columbia
does anybody have one like one above, for under $100 that’s camo? I need one for paddling/solo fishing/ hunting. I have a wakeboarding vest but it’d not comfortable or practical for a long period of time
I don’t have a problem spending over a hundred dollars on something that is comfortable and will keep me alive when I need it the most, alone, unconscious and face-first in the water. I bought the Mustang brand.
