why is it that some boats will be stuffed from hatch to hatch and the entire console stuffed with life jackets. Big orange at that, still in the pack, never opened. I counted over 25 jackets on a 25 ft boat. i have 4 on my boat. well, three,cause i gave a violent intoxicated man w leg cramps, who was floating in a creek one, until the coast guard came to get him. I had him on my boat but he jumped back off. Long story. Any way, do these people think they will at one point have 20 plus people on a 25 ft boat? Doesn’t sound like much fun to me.
I’d rather be a free man in my grave than living as a puppet or a slave.
I make it a rule to have two more than the passengers I have for those just in case situations. Any more than two per person is excessive. I couldn’t imagine 20 people on a 25ft boat. I’d grab one of those life jackets and float back home instead. I’ll occasionally share my personal space but not that much.
