Fished overnight for swordfish, but despite going deep (1400 feet) and using glow-rigs there was no sign of the swords. Sharks were fairly steady though including a hammerhead and a mako. Trolled a bit before sundown and had a billfish hook up (white?) but it did not last long until the hook pulled. At sunrise we trolled again and a nice 45-pound wahoo pile on the left short line. We picked at the peanut dolphin before moving back in to 140 feet and managed to pick up one sailfish, and had another sail in the teaser but could not get a hook in him. For some fish photos from 7/26 check out my blog at www.Lowcountryoutdoors.com.
Did you keep the Mako, thats some good eats there too.
