Fished from 1-3:30 today during the last 2.5 hours of the rising tide. I caught 5 trout - two little ones and 3 ( 1-17 inches, 1-19 inches, and 1-20 inches) The biggest one was caught on an electric chicken shad body on a jighead and the rest were caught on shrimp under a cork.

i couldnt buy a fish on the shrimp today.(doa)the chicken was workin though.nice catch whtz.

I stopped and got a dozen live shrimp but almost half of them were to dang small to use. The trout were hammering the live and fresh dead shrimp.

I put in at the same place I just went across the river. There seems to be a lot of hard bottom on that far side and there is a lot of structure.

yeah,we gotta go over there one day.i was surprised you didnt go to copahee whtz.you tired of catchin spottails?actually,i saw a post on here where they are catchin trout out there too.i got so many places to try,i dont know where to go next.we will hook up one day though.

Hit it again today but went a little late. Managed one 16 inch trout on the electric chicken. At least I didn’t get skunked.

If you take a right out of the landing and hit the bank on the West Ashley side of the river. I maybe able to get loose mid afternoon on Thursday if you want some company.

Where are the pipes - I haven’t seen them but I don’t have a whole lot of time on the water down there. I’ll keep my eye out for them because I like fishing down there.
