I finally found the limehouse landing on google maps… I hear it’s a good trout spot… is it very yak friendly? Is there a lot of current or any other hazzards I need to watch out for? Tanks guys.

Its a good trout, red, and flounder spot. (even a cobia last year)
Its easy to launch and great fishing is extremely close to the landing. The current isn’t really that bad, but there are a lot of boats going through the area. I am fairly new to the yak, so I tend to spend more time concentrating on the wake; rather than fishing. I like fishing there, but hate dealing with the boats on the weekends.
Willy fishes there frequently, and I think he has some success bank fishing near the landing. He also has a canoe (look for the “I know the waters cool thread” in the kayak section).

there is some good fishin in that area.i fish it all the time.yes,the boats can be a hassle,but there are plenty of spots to get out of the way and catch fish.i dont think its kayak unfriendly,no more than any other place near a boat landing.theres some big fish around there.
