Fished out deep today a few miles south and offshore of the 226. We kept 19 dolphin for the day. We had one mystery bite but other than that we left the dolphin biting. Had a friend close by us all day and he had a sail in the spread and there was a lot of talk of marlin all day on the radio.
The highlight of the day was when we had seven baits and 2 teasers in the water and went 7-7 with the baits then picking one more off the teaser with a chewed up ballyhoo from one of the earlier dolphin. There were only 3 of us on board and we did not loose a single fish during all that commotion. That is what the Charleston dolphin bite is all about!
