Lion fish hunting

Words to live by right there. I’ve eaten Lion fish and absolutely love’em. I’ve had’em fried and I’ve had’em roasted whole (this was my favorite) and both were delicious. That said, every time I’ve had them, we bought them and they were already “de-spined.” My daddy raised ugly kids, not dumb kids.

I’ve been stung more times than I can count.About half the time you don’t get any poison.
We soak the spot in near scalding water til the pain subsides, usually 15 minutes to an hour.
Pain can be pretty bad, worse than just about anything else short of gall bladder attacks I’ve had.
Worse than scorpions, rattlesnakes, bees, wasps, man o wars etc.

Been a while also. Caught a gag couple years ago, thought he had a lobster jn his mouth turned out to be a lion fish.

What? Speak up can’t here you due to the ringing in my ears.
