12 inch flounder tagged in Cherry Grove Inlet 4/16. Recaught 4/25 Springmaid Pier Myrtle Beach State Park area. Then he hauled butt. Recaptured again 4/26 Plum Island Dill Creek.

It’s a fish we tagged. Anything that’s recaught DNR sends us a notice where it was caught & its size. I encourage everyone That catches a tagged fish to measure call it in and release it. Even if you keep it call it in. If you call it in I think they send you a hat or a shirt . And I believe thay put you in a drawing for the end of the year. With cash prizes.
That is nuts. Would never think a flounder would move that far, that fast. That has to be 80 to 90 miles in basically 1 day.
