Do you need anything special to keep shrimp alive in a livewell? Also does anyone know of any good locations to set a minnow trap for mud minnows from the shore in the North Charleston/Hanahan area? Thanks.

I’m looking for a drop spot in the NC / Hanahan area for a trap as well. PM me and we can put our heads together… I’ve got a few good ideas already.
Not any real good spots in that area, well that you can go to to get bait the day before fishing anyways. There is no walkable spot that I know of. What I mean is if you drive down towards the stono the back way there’s a creek that empties and leaves a pond at low low, you can walk to it, everything on this side will have to be accessed by boat and I don’t know bout you but I ain’t leaving my boat in bushy park, try Virginia Ave, its a tidal creek.

Don’t leave them at Virginia ave, the locals enjoy them too much. For the price Charleston Marine on rivers is the best place to set your minnow trap.
