What do I need to look for if I am trying to find live shrimp for bait? I would like to do some Red fishing this weekend! Thanks for the help.

You can buy it at local tackle shops for one. If you are gonna catch your own look for creek mouths and pockets on the sides of creeks near low tide. If you find a good spot you can load up in 1 cast.

and you’ll need an aerated bucket or constant fresh water to keep them alive. Also, keep them separated from minnows or you won’t have any shrimp left.

After all those years overseas, you can afford to buy your shrimp or pay someone to catch them for you.(inside joke) i go along the banks slowly and watch for them jumping…sometimes i will sit at the mouth of a creek (small or large ) and just watch for signs…most crreks in the Wando are loaded right now…
