Bait shrimp have arrived in the creeks. Tight lines?
A friend of mine has been catching bait shrimp (~3in) for a week and doing well with them. Haven’t looked myself.
First, Most, Biggest
I want to catch them all
Just picked up 50 lb. of large, 16/18 count, white shrimp from Carolina Seafood in McClellanville for $4.00 lb. They said that next week they would start to slow down.

Is that a heads on price? It seems like it probably is. How do you like the Pioneer 222? I am looking at them and very interested.
Yes that is heads on. The 222 is definitely one of the best for its size. I have put it through its paces and every trip become more impressed. One of my primary concerns when I bought it, was fish storage for off shore trips, I hate clutter. I haven’t seen anything in its class that comes even close here. Both benches up front are 120 qt. and well insulated. The compartment in the deck fwd. is 320 qt. and well insulated. We spend 18 hours off shore, take about 350 lbs of ice, and no coolers, other than the console seat cooler we use for food and drinks. All fish go into both of the bench lockers and when they fill up, we use fish bags. The ice comes from the fwd. deck compartment. Unused iced will keep for days before it finally melts away.
