Live Shrimps and Fish Report!!

Lately it has been pretty difficult to get shrimp from Florida because of the heat but fortunately we are supposed to be getting some shrimp from our local supplier tomorrow around noon. Both stores will be live shrimp. Please call before you come to make sure shrimp are here. We are still holding big mud minnows and fiddler crabs.

On another note we caught some reds, trout, and bluefish yesterday morning up the ICW. We caught most of the reds and trout on the live bait under a cork. We did have a long distance release(that was actually at the boat) of a nicer three pound trout on a badonk-a-donk topwater plug. Sunday was pretty good as well up the Wando. My cousin had his first grand slam with a nice red, four pound trout, and a flounder. We also caught another ten or so reds on minnows under a cork. Good luck this week with the fishing!!

woah! on top as well? very glad those big breeders are still around!

What kind of areas did you look for when using a popping cork?

any ambush point. float the cork over/beside that ambush point and hang on.
