Hey folks, I have finally gone live with my survey on the general interest in adding a few more nearshore reefs off of Charleston County. I’m doing this for an MBA class I’m taking but it’s something that (especially as a smaller boat owner; but not limited to such) I’ve been interested in since finally making my way to the 4KI on a work day (took off) and caught a bunch spades and a cobia.
It only has 11 quick questions (should take no more than 2 mins). I know that personally I HATE surveys but I have to do it so I chose something “near & dear”. Thanks for any ■■■■■■■■; both positive and negative.
Thanks SOOO much for anyone taking the 2 minutes to do it. It is through a Citadel-used software program/site so there are NO ADVERTISEMENTS (pop ups, etc). Thanks thanks!
One - I’m collecting the responses in less than a week BUT the survey will remain open in case people see this afterwards (and I can then analyze even more data… the more responses the stronger the case!)
Two - If someone knows a way to get ahold of Bob Martore (might’ve spelled it wrong; SCDNR Head of Artificial Reefs) then please PM me! I have a SCDNR number for him and extension but when I call I don’t get a choice to enter the extension number!
Absolutely! I thought about it and I’d be pissed off if I took this survey and didn’t know the final tally. The end of next week (NLT weekend) I’ll have it all analyzed, wrapped up, and pretty to throw on here. Thanks for bring that up. I no-kidding meant to say that but sometimes talk/type too much.
Thanks so much for those who’ve taken it so far! Right now after almost 24 hours I’ve got 46 who’ve taken it. That’s pretty awesome. Hoping to get 200 by Tuesday if possible. Anyone that hasn’t done it, I’ve been able to get ■■■■■■■■ and hear it’s the easiest & quickest survey they’ve ever taken. (always good to hear because I hate taking surveys so I tried to design it that way).
Fishguy, definitely will post the results once done. I have to turn in what data I have on Tuesday but will still keep this open for 2 weeks total from when it went live. I’m up to 60 completed surveys right now. Hoping for around 200 but 60 is great so far (200 would make a (**() good argument/sample size though!).
Yakman, I hear ya. I’d like a few more ramps too. I will say after going around the state that I think we have a lot here but I’ve always hoped for one around the St Johns marina IOT hit that area more for new spots.
