I couldn’t resist the finish of the menhaden baits; the perfect size and shape. I was pleased with the action also. I’ve caught some trout on them, but the finish is on the inside of the lure and comes off after a couple of uses. $20 for a couple of uses now it looks like a Heddon lure from the 20’s. I guess is does look more distressed now. kinda like the one you forgot was in the livewell untill the next day. 
The suspending mullet has nice action too. The walking topwater’s tail hangs almost strait down in the water so you have to move it quickly and keep it moving to make it walk. GONG! I’ll be throwing the suspending mullet in my monster trout hole at higher tides today.

They sure do look cool, but my experience has been that they aren’t as effective as other hard baits. I prefer Spooks and Skitter Walks on talk, twitchbaits like Mirrodines and Mirrominnows, and slash baits like the X-Raps.
