Surely, it is “the dream” to think you’ve counted all the fish in the ocean and have become so “knowledgable” that you can easily discredit any fisherman or scientist, who may work for someone other than your employer, who shows you proof that you are wrong.
The preferred applicant for “the dream” will have the following attitude.
“Let’s try to trawl, trap or hook and line fish in the same spots we’ve annihilated with our tax-funded dream-living on an annual basis (until our boss decided to take our funding from us to instead fund catch shares implementation to get her buddies rich) so as to conclude that recreational fishing with sportfishing tackle is just as destructive as any commercial fishing gear ever employed by the vilest of evil men over the most vulnerable of fish in the sea.”

That opportunity is not for any of you folks who currently have lives.
I’d love to do something like this for about six weeks…I think I’d be done then. Do it for a year and I imagine it might ruin fishing for you for a little while.
The learning opportunity would be incredible though. Probably get 30 years of fishing knowledge crammed into one year.
I would prefer to be at the upper end of their pay scale… :))
