Is there anyone local that makes plexiglass or acrylic livewell covers? Mine is spider cracked and the latch is broken.
Thanks

One thing I have found is that many of these parts and pieces are not shelf items. You may be left to fend for yourself. It may help if you post a picture or a size, etc. Just be glad you are not in Murrells Inlet. Limited boat labor. At least for cushions and some other specific things.
You can get plexi glass at Home Depot. The stuff is pretty to work with.
I would look for Lexan rather than Plexiglass. Plexi is actually kind of fragile, Lexan is a lot tougher and more scratch resistant. Not sure where you are but there is a place called Piedmont Plastics in Columbia that can recommend the best product for your application and can get whatever you want.

discount marine, may have made the original cover try them on line
What are the rough dims of your lid?
I may have enough 1" lexan leftover from making my lid for my Mako, and I can mail you a piece or you can send me your lid, and I can make you a copy with my plexiglass scroll saw blade and router. I finish everything off with 800 and 1200 grit wet sanding.

Murrell’s Inlet. Your cover looks to be about 1/4" to 3/8" thick. The material I have is 1" thick.
Try Sabic Polymershapes on shop rd. in Columbia for a piece of scrap acrylic / lexan to match your piece’s thickness. They have a machinist who can copy the part for you as well if you want to pay for the shop time. I recommend paying for that since they have the proper tools. Regular bits and blades will work, but one poor move, and you’ll pay. Plexiglass blades are the ticket for this stuff.
Have you tried contacting sailfish? They may have these parts sitting somewhere collecting dust or know what SKU to give Teak Isle or whoever made the part for them.

Thanks for the replies guys. I tried a few online sites with no luck. They have the newer ones but not the older ones.
Yes, I think 1" is too thick for my well, but thank you for the offer. I meant to call Sailfish back, but I lost track of time.

Does it have to be clear? I could make one from marine mahogany, glassed and painted, or natural clear coat wood finish, or probably from a piece of HDPE cutting board from Walmart.

A modern glass on Camp Road can cut you a new one off your template, or just buy a small piece of lexan and cut it with a scroll saw.
