Livewell drain tube

OK so my live well leaks from where I assume is where the drain tube sticks in. I would think I need a new drain tube that creates a solid seal? Any advice? I have found them online for purchase but I am not sure what I should be measuring, the lenght is 10 inches and it is just a hair under 1 inch in diameter across where it plugs in. thanks

You might be able to just dissasemble it, clean it up, and re-install w/ a good marine sealant. Local boat stores have fittings you can match up if you don’t want to order a full replacement assembly.

Before you go to all that trouble. Disconnect your drain that you have and use a lot of silicone where it actually connects around the nut to the outlet tube in the livewell and put it back together and let it sit overnight before you test it. Also disconnect the drain hose on the outside of the well and put silicone around where it connects to the drain and put a new hose clamp on it. Also inspect where the hose clamp has been attached to the hose to make sure you do not have a hole where the clamp has been connected. I had a similar issue and I had a pin hole leak in the hose. I cut off a 1/2 inch of the hose put the silicone on the connector put it back together and problem solved!!
