Hey guys just got my first boat, a 17 ft flats boat and after fixing a few things here and there i took her out, she runs great, went to tunr on the live well, and nothing? It worked great in the test drive, of course, the fuse looks good and wires are tight, everything looks OK behind the switch so I dunno? Any advice? It doesn’t make any noise at all so I don’t know if it is getting power, or it is and the pump is out? Thanks for any advice.
Check the pump if all the electrical stuff checks out. Some of them are replaceable cartridges. The casing on my Rule pump has cracked a couple times. If that’s the case it’s easy to replace. Just turn the battery switch to off, clip the two cables and reconnect to the new pump and twist the pump back into the receiving end.
