The Lowcountry Kayak Anglers will be holding a club meeting on Tuesday June 9th at Haddrell’s Point Tackle West Ashley. Event begins at 6:00 PM.
I will be conducting a catfishing seminar, in preparation for the state club vs. club tournament at Lake Monticello. I will have final details about that trip for club members as well. Club business will be conducted thereafter.
As always, LKA meetings and events are open to anyone interested in the sport of kayak fishing.

Lake monticello? Now you boys are in my neck of the woods! I work at VC Summer, and fish that lake whenever I can sneak in a session before heading home…
Yeah we’re making a road trip for a little friendly competition between us and the other two state kayak fishing clubs.

Nice, I know there was a 51 lb-er pulled out of there May 10th. Fishing has been pretty slow on that water lately… Recommend cut bait - herring and white perch. about 30-40 ft deep in the late afternoon. Early morning they will be closer to the edges around 15-20 ft. Going to try and make the June 9th meeting, hope to see you guys there!
