Sorry to post this so late on the forum…

Join us for a Meet and Greet on Saturday, July 26 at 0800 at Garris Public Boat Landing. We’ll meet up and chat, then go fishing along the nearby waters. High tide is at 8:30 AM - low tide 2:30 PM.

All are invited. Interested in kayak fishing? Come out and see some rigged kayaks and meet some local kayak anglers.

Garris Public Boat Landing is located at the end of Bulls Island Road in Awendaw. From Mount Pleasant - take Hwy 17 north to Seewee Road, which is just past the Tractor Supply - take a left and continue 3.4 miles to Bulls Island Road - turn right - ramp is at the very end.

Should have met up with you guys but missed your post. Hope you had better luck than I did. I fished Copahee instead and got skunked. Saw plenty of reds but could get none to hit. The water was very turbid and fish still spooked easy. I’m beginning to think you can’t sneak up on a red even in a kayak there.
