The next meeting of the Lowcountry Kayak Anglers Club will be at Palmetto State Armory in Mount Pleasant, on Saturday January 31st at 5:00 PM.

Palmetto State Armory’s address is: 3365 S. Morgans Point Road, Mount Pleasant, 29466. It is right next to the entrance to Charleston National.

Prior to the meeting: a Shad Fishing Seminar hosted by Lewis Brownlee (aka Elgeebee). I get a lot of questions about how I shad fish from a kayak, so I’ll discuss topics including lures, locations, safety, and more.

All kayak anglers, or those interested in the sport, are welcome to attend.

The LKA meeting will be informational - providing answers to your questions about the LKA, and presenting our plans for the year. We’ll discuss the Angler of the Year competition for paid members, discounts for club members, events, tournaments, and 2015 plans for our ‘Heroes on the Water’ chapter.
