I’m ready to rig up my 'yak with rod holders, anchor, etc…
Any suggestions as to where I can buy this stuff locally? I’ve tried Walmart, Sports Authority, some tackle shops, and none carry any. I’d rather just pay for it locally than go online and order the stuff and end up paying the same price after shipping. Thanks in advance!
Try Charleston Watersports over in Mt. Jersey in the Kmart shopping ctr. off Bowman road. They know alot and will rig up whatever you want. Plus they wont try and sell you junk you dont need. They are good guys, check out their website…
Also, you can go to the Kayak festival on James island county park (April 14-16, double check me) and pretty much see a good variety of accessories and pick some brains of the vendors. Check it out, and good fishing to ya…

Also check out Time Out Sport and Ski in mount pleasant. They carry a full line of kayaking gear, and will usually put eqipment on your boat for you if you buy the gear there. good luck
