Looking to bring a boat up from Florida with a 300HP Verado. Who do you trust in the local Charleston area to work on it? (I need the Chris V of Verado’s - that’s a compliment by the way)
Its under warranty so it would be warranty work. Just curious before I bring it up.

Fishman77…
Met you along time ago on 41…when you had your Malargo…believe back then…with 200hpdi"s…
Take it to Whitton or Tailwalker local…or the guys in GA.
Changed my post a little upon request…if anyone would like to know some of the service providers that I have used in the past…on the boat and motors that I have owned threw the years they include XR-6"s,Opti"s,OX"s and was one of the first to have a Verado in the low country after the previous owner was the first…please do not hestitate to call or pm…Kirk @ 343-1859
Chris…still running the OX"s with over 3000 hrs…plan to visit yall next few weeks for some service take care.
Still have the Marlago with HPDI’s. They have been great but when they need work I only trust Charleston Marine to work on them. Have never had to take it back for a repeat issue. Anyway looking at a new ride with 300 - 350 HP motors. Have the choice to go Verado (my first Mercury product) or wait a while and go with the new Yamahas. The builder is saying (and I agree) go with who provides the best service in your area. So I am looking.
The boat would be built and bought direct from the builder so I don’t want to get into the “you didn’t buy it from me issue”. I perform all the maintenance, but if something major goes I need a good dealer or distributor.

I dont think hankel is mercury dealer anymore, might be wrong, but I dont think they can do warranty on mercs anymore.
lucky, check your PM
are those ox66’s still running?
yamaha might want those back to put on display!!!
2nd Longshore. They are pricey but good and know how to treat a customer. Don’t let any one touch it that isn’t an authorized Merc, Verado certified technician. I would even be as bold as to ask to see the certificate if there is any doubt.
SCBS.
Where are yall located…and is the place secure! Do not have any problem trying someone local…and would prefer it…DI…and MC…resident please pm me.
