Lockjaw, the story of noda.

So I went up the Wando yesterday evening in search of some tailers and found plenty of fish. I didn’t bring my fly rod, only spinning gear. Folks, I officially threw the front door at the reds and noda. Gulp shrimp, DOA… I even had crab quarters. Different presentations, colors, retrieves… noda. I guess I’m so shocked because I only had about 10,000 good shots and you guessed it, noda. Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated. Although it would have been great to hook up, once that storm broke up and pushed south and the wind calmed down, I can’t say there was a better place to be than in the grass watching those fish… incredible stuff. Thanks in advance, tight lines -

If you are using a little bit of Spanish it is " nada ".Unfortunately, I also have had nada suerte lately.

Reds seem to be brutal to catch right now for about everyone, go catch some trout or flounder and get your string stretched and have a nice din din afterwards. Should get better as it cools here before too long. It’s almost August thankfully and from then on it will only get better.
