We’re looking at a house on s shore drive in west Ashley, curious if the creek is actually usable anytime but full high tide.
I can take the boat over this Saturday, but I figures I’d check and see.

I have a friend that lives right around the first bend in the creek. It’s not navigable at low tide. There’s the landing and the dock that makes up for it.
S Shore drive always seems to have homes on the water on the market at a reasonable price. Should 526 ever be completed I believe the homes will be in the shadow of the bridge to Johns Island. I’ve plowed mud in that creek a couple hours before low tide.
There’s no I in Barbeque Team.
At the moment, the satellite layer of google maps shows the creek at near low tide. Looks like above the bend is dry at low.

My main concern isn’t that it’s not navigable at low, but how long on either side of low it actually is useable. The home is not in the development and would not have access to their dock or ramp…
It just Wouldn’t make sense if it was only useable for 2 or 3 hours every 12
