Went out fishing friday and caught a few fish, but had one break me off in the grass. The next day I go out with a buddy of mine to the same area. We see a red in the next feeder creek over by the grass jumping and rolling like hes chasing bait around or something. We cast to him and nothing, we go to him and he starts flipping out. I see a some line in the grass then coming out and going into the water. I grab the line and sure enough the fish is on the other end. I look at the line and rig and it was mine from the previous day. The fish was only 18 inch, we let him go and he swam away strong.
Ha thats an epic fight right there. way to go.

Glad you got to release him. I turned one loose last year that broke my popping cork rig off on shells and 2 days later he was in the same area feeding along with the rest of the school pulling the cork along on top, I cast and caught it and release him and retreived my cork.
