I walked down to the dock a little bit ago. Saw several half submerged logs drifting around. Be careful if you’re on the water on Murray. The lake has come up about two feet, lots of stuff will probably be floating off of the bank.
Also saw a small aluminum boat heading out into some really big white caps. Awfully rough water to be out in a small boat.
Worse that that … there’s whole docks floating around the lake right now … This is the dockage at Big Man’s in the Little Saluda …

X2 on the debris. Rocky creek in the mid-lake area was full of trees yesterday like I’ve never seen. All of it mostly submerged stuff. With the flooding and water release will the lake still turnover this year?
The lake will certainly still turnover. It’s all a function of the leveling of temperature and D.O. from top to bottom and has little to do with debris in the water.

Big Man’s dock is not floating down the river. It was retrieved and is in the cove on the backside of the Big Man’s peninsula.
There are multiple trees and logs floating down the lake from both rivers.

Have a friend who has a house back in Hollow Creek that is looking for his floating dock and his pontoon. The boat was still attached to the dock if anyone sees it. The pontoon has custom embroidered Gamecock upholstery and the boat is painted garnet, black, and white.
