Looking for a blue fin Tuna trip

Im looking to charter a trip to fish for blue fin. I would be taking my 2 sons. Oldest is stationed at Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville NC. Would need to be with in a couple of hours from Jacksonville. Any thoughts on a good Captain?

Shoot Courtland a PM. He posted this weekend about his trip to the outerbanks with pictures of the Blue Fin he caught. He was looking
for some guys to fill out a charter. Don’t know if he has or not?
Courtland’s post can be found in Offshore Reports (Bluefin in IO). You could try charters out of Morehead NC, that would be close to Lejune.

Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is the way to go if you don’t know anyone. If your looking to troll, any boat in the fleet can fish.

Come to VA Beach (Rudee Inlet). They’re killing the BFT up here right now. No need to go offshore…they are literally catching them within a mile of the beach.

Thanks for the info guys. Will check them all and see which one best suits us. How long do the Blue fins hang around?

They will be heading back north Late March-Early April.
