I’m looking for a responsible adult (meaning, you won’t show up drunk or stoned) to do some canoe fishing with. I have a 15f Coleman canoe, nothing fancy, with the necessary life jackets.
Eventually I’ll be taking my 3 year old out, and I’d like to do some trips to various areas first before I put him out there. He’s been out on calm lakes and ponds before, never a river.
You won’t need to be all that experienced at fishing the area— I know the area somewhat well-----except I do prefer that you’ve definitely used a paddle before.
And this is for guys only. God bless all the lady fishermen but I’m not about to get a divorce over a fishing buddy!
I plan on trying several places— Bushy Park, Pitt Street bridge, several rivers up around Marion and Moultrie, and Ashley River.

I will be finally moved into the area early next week, and need to do a trip or two (piers) with my son but then I’ll be ready to do some canoeing.
I’m new to the area but not to saltwater, few years as a charter/commercial mate (VA/MD), but the south is new to me.
