im thinking of getting a kayak since i dont have a boat and its not really wading season anymore down in charleston ( from what ive been told on here ). from what ive gathered, SOTs are the best for fishing. im getting started with the flyrod for christmas too, so if anyone knows of a cheap or used kayak that would be greaatly appreciated!
also, im pretty new to inshore fishing so any help would be greatly appreciated! ive seen the pcitures and read the stories of yall going out in the yaks and it looks like a blast! thanks in advance for any advice you have
check the classifieds here and in the P&C and Craigslist. They show up pretty often one of those places. I just bought the one JBM was selling in the classfieds about a week ago. There is a nice Redfish 14 for sale at TidalFish.com. Look under the kayak forum. I think the fellow wants $900 for the yak and all the accoutrement’s.
Play it again sports has a Perception for sale. They have a $339 sticker on it. I see Money Man @ 26 also is selling one. Cant see what it is from the interstate.
palmetto- thats the price range im looking in. maybe a little cheaper. i couldnt pay it out right right now due to fraternity bills/house payments/car payments and that sorta thing. but i have a job and make a pretty steady income. i can afford a small cc i just dont have the time for it ( unfortunatly it has been hard for me to come to this conclusion ). so if anyone has a kayak they would be willing to sell and let me pay them over a few months i would be grateful. we can write up a contract or something . just let me know!!! and if anyone wants go go fhishing let me know!
