Looking for aBoat Cover Pioneer 180 Sportfish

Just bought a Pioneer 180SF and looking for a boat cover that will go over the motor as well as cover hull paint on the sides. The boat does not have a T-top. Could someone lead me in the right direction? Thanks

I bought a very nice sunbrella custom cover for my boat right after I bought it and paid about $350.00 for it. I put canvas protectant on it and everything. After a year and a half it was dry rotted so bad it ripped halfway across while putting it back on. After having it repaired and then it ripping in another spot a few weeks later, I had to throw it away. I bought one of those heavy duty canvas tarps from tractor supply company and only paid about75.00 for it and it has so far lasted longer and was a whole lot cheaper. The canvas one looked a whole lot better, but I will never buy another one.

Just my .02 worth.

had purchased a Carver boat cover. It is a one piece cover that includes the motor. It seems to be a quality cover and I would buy another. I don’t know if it came with the boat when he bought it or he bought it later. Besides, Carver is a South Carolina company. They are in Landrum. http://www.carvercovers.com/

I got mine from West Marine. I can’t remember the brand name but it is the only one they carry i think. The material has held up well and this is the best cover i have had for a boat. This is probably the best option short of a custom cover.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

How well does the company “T-Top” covers hold up? Looking for a cover for a CC with T-top, any others make them beside having one custom made.

I just returned a Taylor Made cover that I wasnt satisfied with; that mistake cost me the additional shipping costs for the return, a restocking fee, and took about 8 weeks for the credit. On the upside I understand they dont issue credits but got one; they usually just exchange their covers.

Afterwards I spent a few more dollars on a Carver boat cover and can honestly say the difference in quality is like night and day.

A custom cover is definitely the way to go but if you dont want to spend that kind of money I would recommend a Carver cover. (Great customer service call them and they will send you samples of their fabrics. Phone: (864) 703-7400)

Be careful you get what you pay for in boat covers.

have a t-top cover been on the boat at the dock for 6 years. Still looks good. Wash once a year in large washer at laudromat. Cost is up there but product is worth it. Son in law bought 2 covers for his bay boat both tore up in one to two seasons. He bought t-top cover and it is now 4 years old looks great. The material is lighter than the sunbrella canvas and is easy to put on take off by yourself. Great cover.

I bought it from www.boatcoversdirect.com. They also gave me 10% of since I heard from them off the hull truth forum. It came in today. Looks real good.
