Are they around or is the upper Wanda mostly redfish? Any tips thanks? I plan to ride the tide out Saturday 6am and come back about noon.
Yes. There are flounder there. There will be a lot more around soon. They should start stacking up thick next month.

I caught two there on Sunday. Only one was keeper-size. Both were caught on mud minnows, and both were caught when I picked up a rod that had been sitting out for a while and reeled it in order to move to another location. Seemed strange, but maybe someone more familiar with the ways of flounder can explain this.
Biggest flounder I have caught in SC was right across from the landing there… In May…

Flounderville indeed. Caught a 14.000001" flattie and a 14.0001" trout. I saw a bunch of other kayak guys out there guiding or something.
