Looking for something like this

But I want a bracket to be able to attach it to an aluminum tube, 1 1/4" diameter. Does anyone make something like that? I’ve seen several that will fit 1" tube, but that does me no good. Peapod needs a place to put his PBR or else he just won’t get on the boat.

Just so we’re on the same page…you want to use that Edson cupholder (very nice, installed two on a contender a few years ago) on a 1.25" tube by using a bracket, but can’t find the bracket?

Is there a reason you can’t drill/tap the tube and install that way?

Is this for a vertical tube or a horizontal one?

Lots of stuff here:

It doesn’t have to be that. I just want a SS drink holder and I don’t want to drill on my poling platform.

Vertical

I want to put it off the back right here for easy access while poling…

How is the Pod supposed to get at it there:question: Or is he the one doing the poling:question:

I just put these rod holders on last week and I was trying to find a bracket that was similar so that I could move it around if it got in the way of poling. These rod holders are the west marine brand.

I already have my Tibor pole holder installed on top of the platform and I don’t want to crowd it too much. That’s why I thought if I got a clamp on style cup holder and it could sit lower than the platform, I’d be good to go. I’m just tired of spilling drink after drink up there by kicking it off.

Peapod does not pole other men.

I hope you have that fancy camera around your neck when you fall off the platform reaching for your beer

If I invite that fool on my boat, he’s doing all the work while I bonk reds on their melons with flies…

also your backyard looks awful. You should hire a professional

Are you stuck on it being stainless cup holder?

I’m striking out finding something like what you desire.

We searched and searched for a way to mount cup holders on vertical tubes of T-top on a Regulator last year, and we settled on these:
http://www.westmarine.com/buy/beckson-marine--safe-can-holder--P015_454_003_508?recordNum=15

They also make them in black. But we used a zip tie on top and one on bottom and a zip tie gun to install and tension the straps and they have lasted one solid year so far. They have made numerous offshore trips, and survived cases and cases of beer. They hold a Yeti koozie perfectly by the way…and a large yeti cup fits well also.

Why not mount it on that thinner top horizontal grab bar?
It will be easier to reach and you cant kick it off.

Maybe you should get a custom piece made to hold your drink, phone, pliers, knife, etc.

Reaching below foot level doesn’t seem like a good idea.

Any of these work?

^ he said stainless, not plastic

i kid i kid

Don’t think that 2nd photo has any plastic in it, except for the cup

I use one of these in that same spot on my boat. They make singles or doubles.
