Looking for transportation rental advice

Need to pull a 22,000 lb boat 2 miles. Boat is going from Cooper River Marina dry storage to Pierside Boat Works in the navy yard. Looking to rent a f350 - f450. Any advice? Not finding any luck searching online.

Some Ford dealerships rent them. If not then try a Chevy dealership, a Chevy might be able to pull it a couple of miles.

Have you priced having a towing company pull it on your trailer with one of their wreckers or rollbacks?

I haven’t really looked into it, but I believe both Lowe’s and Home Depot rent trucks.

Honestly I would try calling a towing company as mentioned above and see what they could offer. May be the easiest and quickest solution.

Triangle car rental in West Ashley rents f-350 dualies. I used a truck from them several years ago for a boat tow. One of the few rentals companies that allows towing.

Call local wrecker service, may cost a little more, but a lot less hassle.

Turkeys towing moved my bollard. It only weighs about 2,000 pounds but it took two wreckers and only cost $170. Well worth it.
