Nobody likes a sandbagger Opt!
I just hope the numbers keep increasing to levels of 05-09. I took for granted the topwater bite you could count on EVERY morning during that period (April-June, Sept-Oct.) This area (Edisto) doesnât seem optimal to grow big trout (21"+), but itâs nice to have the numbers around to count on when you are able to find clear water.
Fishing pressure will increase every year, although because of the crappy economy, the rate of increase has slowed it seems. The best thing we can do is release fish, and donât keep limits to fill the freezer. We have a good fishery all along the SC coast. Letâs keep it that wayâŚJust takes common sense.
