Heard of beginners luck? Imagine the exact opposite!
Ain’t caught the first fish out of my boat but sure have spent a lot of mileage and labor trying to. (and $)
Was going to Limehouse yesterday and saw a bump popping out of trlr tire. Went to 4 places before finding them at Hay’s Tire. Wow, they’re high.
Watching tire guy,saw a huge crack in the middle x-member. Dam! Now have to wait and see if the welder from Craig’s List thinks the trlr is worth saving!
Awww, cmon!
I want to go fishing, dammit!

If it ain’t broke…let me try!

Found a deal, maybe.
Just put 135hp Mariner in classifieds. Sits on a 19’ bowrider. Boat is scrap, motor is sound and if I find a buyer, I get the almost new trlr free.
Hope it works!

Good Luck. And I don’t mean that sarcastically.

Watch out! Usually when you ask for patience, you get chaos. That’s how patience is learned.

The skunk normally lives with me…but you are more than welcome to use him for awhile.

Good luck with the equipment, they don’t say Bring Out Another Thousand for nothing.

Keep at it.

May be my trailer “fix”. Going to shop tomorrow to have bad x-bars cut out and replaced.
I may finally get to go fishing!

Well CRAP. Was not my fix and guy thought I wanted bunk brackets replaced. Miscommunications a *****!
Anyway, Anyone know where I could lay my hands on an inexpnsive trlr for 17’ cc Seapro??
I could really use some input.
Thanks
Mike

YAY! Problem solved. Just bought a nice used trailer.

You never buy a new (to you) used boat and not have to do work on it and it’s trailer. The trick is to go through the boat and fix things before they break…but do it in stages so you can afford it …and use the boat between stages. Good luck!

good advice
