fishing slowed down this week and the tuna did not show back up. had a great trip, weather was hot. cought some real nice fish and ate and drank too much. water was great all week. can’t wait till next time.

sounds like another great trip to CR. looks like you buddy caught a trophy roosterfish right there. congrats.

yea, it made six runs and took 45 minutes to get him in the boat.

we had one marlin on but he got wrapped up in the props and they dont stay there long on 30# line. the second mate put on a pair of goggles and took another line from another rod to try to get the fish back but it was to late. very valliant effort though.

Looks like a nice trip over all. I’m headed to Los Suenos in April for the first time with my wife for some R&R and fishing, do you have any suggestions on charter boats/captains?

down east guide service . www.pamlicoguide.com George and Anna are good people from NC and can help you with any tourist concerns. they have some of the best boats in costa rica, spanish fly, dragon fly and the bite. april is the off season so prices will be alot better and the fishing still good. tell them i told you to call them. my name is mark hyatt. hope you have a great trip. dont try to rent a boat by yourself, it can get costly with extras.
