My motor had been running smoothly but losing power it seemed so yesterday I changed both fuel filters on the motor, the built in and the added water separator, and it made a significant difference. It doesn’t strain to get up on a plane and it now runs 7 mph faster. I had replaced the water separator every year but never the original fuel filter. I guess the power had slowly gotten weaker and I really hadn’t noticed it until the other day I was out with a boat full of riders and it really took a long tome to get on a plane. I just thought I would pass this on in case somebody else was experiencing the same thing. As I said earlier it was running smoothly but just not as strong as it used to be.
