Lost Bean Bags

Monday on the way to Wappoo Cut our two E-Sea-Rider beanbags flew out of the back of the boat somewhere between Shadowmoss Plantation and Wappoo. We went back and looked for them but no luck. I think someone picked them up at 5am believe it or not. They are two white teardrop bags. If anyone found them there is a reward involved. They were brand new and we never got to use them. Send me a pm if you know anything. Thanks guys.

That sucks. The ESEA Riders are very comfy too. Hopefully someone will do the right thing.

Ouch!!

I called Sea Rider yesterday to get some additional beads for mine(large tear drop), and they made me verify my name and address. Supposedly if you buy the large bag, you’ll need to get additional beads from them. They cut the bag short to cut down on the cost of freight and only allow one bag of beads per customer. So If they don’t have your purchase on file, you get zero beads.

Not to high-jack this thread, but if you look to replace them try this site: http://www.annsbeanbags.com/store/commerce.pl?product=.

I got my last two there. Product appears to be the same quality as Sea Rider at about a 1/3 less and they saved me on shipping also as I recall. I also don’t recall them being lean on the beans. In fact, I had to take a bunch out to make them more comfortable.

Hope your bags come back to you.

Thanks for the link. I was going to get one for Dad. Which did you buy? I was looking at the chair style with the arm rests. Thoughts on that one?

Oh yea, hope you get your bags back.

I got the tear drop ones. After enjoying them on a ride or two on the Gut Wrench it did not take long to realize they were a must:smiley:

They are hard to find around here. Big lots had some for $14 a few months ago but they looked like they would come apart before you got them to the parking lot. Other than the high dollar ones were are you finding them??

Those little styrofoam beans from bean bags are great to put into a bride and grooms car at the wedding reception. Nice and clean, they don’t smell but develop a static electricity that makes them very hard to remove from the upholstry in the car.

trader joe’s in west ashley has them for $40 each. You have to be ultra careful with them though, as the fabric will tear easily, especially if you snag it on the handrail of your stairs like I did and beads went everywhere.
