Does anyone know where I can get a new boat key made? I left mine on top of my jeep and drove away, now it’s gone. Thanks
A dealer who sells your make of motor should be able to help you out.

I know A-1 Locksmith at 4400 Dorchester Road, North Charleston, SC next to the Food Lion makes Yamaha keys. And like jisuho said, get extras! I use the duplicate and keep a spare in my emergency dry box on the boat while I am on the water.

On a recent offshore trip, a guy fishing with us fell onto my Suzuki key switch and bent the key and shut the motor off. I did not have my spare on board at the time, but we were able to straighten the key out enough to make it work. Now I will keep a spare on board!

I never thought about that. That would suck! I guess I better get me some keys made.
