Lots to come - I hope.

If what I did Saturday afternoon is any indication, there’ are a lot of trout that will be legal soon. Fished through low tide ( which I don’t like ) and caught about 25 on DOA shrimp under a popping cork . Not one of them was 14 inches. Did get a chance to study some creek mouths to fish at high tide. I’ve got so many in my head now that I can’t remember what they look like later. Is there a better way ?

Remember objects by each one to remember as identification markers or take a photo.

We caught about 20 yesterday at dead low as tide was coming in. Only 5 out of about 20 were keepers. Its getting better.

What kind of areas do you guys target a low tide? Never been much of a low tide trout fisherman…

Ditches/pockets/deeper holes adjacent to where they’re feeding at high tide is where I typically look at low tide. If there is bait in the area, the predators aren’t going to travel far from there.

As far as keeping track of spots, I just drop a waypoint on my Humminbird.

No matter how much it hurts, how dark it gets, or how far you fall…you are never out of the fight.

I usually fish around docks at low tide. Find some close to your good high tide spots and give them a shot.

The little ones are annoying but, seeing them means big ones later.
