Lotsa trout

Been several times in the last couple of weeks. Fishing DOA shrimp under popping cork - best color for me is gold metal flake. On a falling tide, fish either side of creek-mouths, but don’t ignore current well out from the mouth. Most fish small (13.75 in.), but 20% are keepers. Tides super high right now, and muddy, but look for eddies with clearer water. If they aint there, move! Catching 25 to 50 per tide. That’s all I know about trout fishing.

Sounds pretty spot-on. With the wind and big tides, the water has been dirty around here all but an hour or so on either side of high tide. They have been stacking up around creek and gutter mouths at that time ready to snag some shrimp being flushed out by the outgoing tide. DOA=Hard to beat. Pattern should persist until water temps. drop below 55 and shrimp move to deep holes and offshore.
