RBF you are correct Dabo is one of the good guys. My daughter graduated from Clemson about 3 years ago. Dabo started as head coach I think in her Freshman year. She was in the Tiger Band and thought the world of him. Every year, he would meet with the marching band and tell them how much they meant to him, his program and his players. That they were an integral part of the football and athletic program and that he and all of the coaches counted on them to keep the team, fans and players fired up. How many other coaches do anything like that? Once on a road game, the band didn’t have the money to send the entire band, so they were only going to send a small Pep Band on a bus. Dabo found out and told the Band Director, he wanted the entire band to travel, he needed them there for this game. He would pay for the airline, hotel, and all other expenses out of his budget, just send them all and they did. Her only regret, they never beat Carolina while she was a student; but since she graduated, they haven’t lost to them. Regardless of what you think of him and his coaching ability, he loves those kids and does everything he can for them.

The silly part is that you think the writers pick the best college player. I got no problem with them picking someone like Henry again and then Deshaun going on to be the next Dak Prescott. I’d actually prefer he not win so he can go on and actually have an NFL career. The kids going to have btb 4000+ seasons and 35+ tds. Numbers even Famous Jameis didn’t have.

Mayfield is a joke. He gets exposed when he has to play a defense.
The main thing Jackson has going for him is that he runs like a deer. He is a ball hog though, and if you stop him running, you stop them.
Watson hasn’t had the best year, but he doesn’t lose. 3 losses in 3 years so far.
There really isn’t anyone who just jumps out at you.

My comment was a joke as well.
It looks like they have been saving Watsons legs for the games that matter down the stretch. If he plays like we know he can, he’ll stand out over the next 2 weeks. Peppers is going to suffer without their #1 QB and OSU is going to murder them and they won’t even be in the playoffs or B10 CG. Jacksons attitude should exclude him from the award. Dalvin Cook may have had a shot if he hadn’t been on such a crappy team that played from behind so much. Watson, McCaffry and Jackson are my top 3, but I think Watson will light it up in Orlando while they are sitting at home.
And you are right about DW not losing. Without him, I think we are a 8-10 loss team over 2 years instead of 2. Just like Bama would have lost 2-3 more last year without Henry.

I bet Louisville falls more than 2 spots after losing to a team on the road. Unlike the media darling taters that lose at home to an unranked team and barely skip a beat. The playoff system was supposed to make things interesting but this year the teams are backing in to it. And if attitude had anything to do with the Heisman several past winners wouldn’t have won.
