Going there 2morrow in AM. New to fishing in boat. What would u recommend. Will a Carolina rig work. What kind of bait etc. I have a new lowrance, I realize reef will not be exactly on coordinates. How do I tell I’m over reef? Do u look for peaks on downscanner? Should I anchor out there? Don’t have reef anchor but can buy one at haddrells. Thx in advance for any advice.
Use double drop rig. Squid for bob. Lora nice should put right on reef. I don’t anchor, keep motor running. If you Dee jelly balls on way out net a few and use them for spades. For spades cut up jelly balls an chum with it. Use light line with a single split shot, bury hook in piece of jelly ball. Spade fish are line shy.
