Stickman and I were joined by Capntang and 23Sailfish to round out a great crew…newcomer Luke joined us and off we went to scare up some bottom creatures…made bait at the cans and headed out…while there was little wind chop the swell and wind were both coming somewhat SW’ish…made for a little wet trip out since we were heading SE…found one small grouper, some sea bass, pinkies and triggers…put more triggers in the box than anything…nice roll back home…thanks Stickman for the ride…trolling trip next!

in Capntang’s defense it was his responsibility to bring beer for the boat captain…oh yea, I assigned him that responsibility…my ways are wicked…bwahahaha…

This was a fun, no stress trip. Thanks for the invite and I really had a great time. I’ll take a cooler full of triggers any day. Looking forward to next time, the Regulator is a MACHINE.
Tried hard for a good grouper with the jig, but nothing doing.
Yeah we needed to take all that live bait to Grouper Deep first, and then go to 100 ft at the end instead of the other way around as was done. Oh wait I stopped shallow because my spine surgeon called on the VHF and told me to quit doing that to myself! Plus I had already spilled 24 oz of beer on myself and managed to get 4-5 pz actually in my mouth.
But every trip is a learning experience- this trip I learned someone actually cans urine, gives it a fancy name, and sells it to unsuspecting fisherman
Oh yeah, I also learned I CAN get 10000# of boat airborne off waves.
