LOWCOUNTRY REDFISH CUP CHARLESTON

Do you have to depart from IOP marina on Saturday in the A.M, or can you simply radio or call in that you have hit the water? I fished this tourney last year and we had to physically be at patriots point for check out , which was a little more conveniently located than IOP, selfishly for me

You have to depart and return to the given site which is IOP Marina.

saaaaa-weet. Looking like rain again this year too; that was tough fishing conditions last year…

I wish I could be there with ya fellas. I just got the word yesterday that I will likely be going to Korea for about three weeks. Yeah:frowning_face: been in Okinawa subtropical weather for 2+ years to go to Korea and freeze. Gonna be a shock at the very least, but it is only three weeks. Good luck to all.

We will be there and ready to fish. Looking forward to a great season and hopefully put some good numbers up

Anyone know the final results?

They should be posted soon but Bradford and Rupert (don’t know their partners) tied for first with 8 lbs. 7ozs, but Bradford had a bigger fish so he took first prize money and points. I’m pretty sure Kendrick/Rose finished 3rd and Alderman/Cole finished 4th. After that, I don’t know. Cale and I weighed 2 dinks which was fairly common. I think about 25 out of 41 boats had at least 1 fish to weigh. Participation was very low as compared to the first tournament of this series in the last 3 years. Must have been the weather or cold water conditions. Polygraphs were administered to the top 3 money winners.

1st - Craig Bradford & Acker = 8lb 7oz
2nd - Addison Rupert & Sigmon = 8lb 7oz
3rd - Brian Rose & Neil Kendrick = 8lb 5oz
4th - Chris Rosengarten & Rob Malphrus = 7lb 15oz
5th - Ben Alderman & Tim Cole = 7lb 11oz

There was a tie for first! Heaviest single fish breaks the tie.
